Meredith Oakes is BNY Mellon’s Global Head of Campus Strategy & Pipeline Development. In her current role, she leads recruitment and development strategy for early career high potential talent, building the company’s pipeline of future leaders. Prior to assuming this position in March 2017, she served as Vice President, Learning & Performance, responsible for the company’s senior executive leadership development and performance management globally. Meredith is a member of BNY Mellon’s Global Talent & Development Leadership Team and the Human Resources Leadership Team.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2015, Meredith held a variety of finance, strategic planning, and talent & development roles at Lehman Brothers, Lockheed Martin, MVP Healthcare, and GE. She has managed global teams, and led cross-functional system implementations, industry and enterprise benchmarking, and corporate-wide budgeting and strategic planning processes.
Meredith holds a master’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York-Albany, and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She also dedicated a portion of her undergraduate studies at the Universidad de Sevilla (Seville, Spain).
